In January 2008 company Director Roy Leask led Lerwick's Up Helly Aa celebrations. As "Guizer Jarl" he led a squad of 74 Vikings though a day of civic engagements. The evening included a spectacular torchlit procession, the climax of which saw the dramatic burning of the galley, followed by a night of festivities. The squad of vikings included a number of DITT employees. They are pictured outside the Company premises at the start of the day.
